The Las Vegas Comic Expo
Las Vegas, Nv. Sept. 28th and 29th
Picture
After the fun I had in Vegas at the Amazing show, I figured I should head back and do this show.  It was a real good time.  For a smallish show there was a lot to see and do.  If you were a comic buyer there was lots of books to get and some amazing deals.  I got to spend time with my friend from the Valiantfans.com board Ramses818, who is one cool dude.  He even manned the booth for me while I went and scooped up some goodies.  I also met a few other Valiant fans at the show, that was sweet.  I enjoyed both vegas shows this year and there are some great comic fans in Vegas, you can count on me being back to both shows next year.

Central Coast Comic Con
Ventura, Ca. Sept 7th and 8th

Picture
This was the first year of the C4 (Ventura Con) and I was not sure what I was expecting.  It was a small con but ended up being lots of fun.  My great friend Doc was with me so that in itself makes it great.  We were also able to stay at his parents place and Mama Doc made a breakfast fit for a king.  I loved it!  The crowds were real strong at this show (for a small brand new show).  One of my favorite parts of the show was seeing Valiantfans.com homies Bone-A-Fach-ee and chriskay99.  You can bet that I will be back net year.

Stockton Con
Stockton Ca. Aug. 4th

So unfortunately, I do not have any pictures from this show because we were so busy there was no time to take pictures!  This was a great show and one of the funnest days I've has setting up at cons.  My brother Joey was with me and he was huge help.  He was able to get us help moving in and help loading up from the volunteers.  He had a gaggle of girls helping him pull the cart of books out of the van.  My great friend BTE let both of us crash at his palce, so thanks to BTE and family.  You can bet that I will be back to Stockton in 2014.

Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Show
June 23rd and Aug. 18th

So I have become a regular at the Shrine Comic book shows.  I really do enjoy these shows as there are some great comic book readers and collectors that always stop by.  I plan on being a fixture at all future Shrine comic book shows.  Unfortunately, I hit the wrong button and lost all my pics from these shows.  So make sure you come by the next shrine show to make fun of me for losing my pictures.

Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con
Las Vegas, Nv. June 14-16th

PictureHere is my booth set up
This was my first time back in Vegas since I was in college and the Luxor was the "hot" spot.  I can tell you I was sure glad I came back.  This was a great show with great guests (like ALL "Amazing" shows are).  I had my friend Sean out with me (a different dude than Doc) and he was a big help.  Like I said the guest list was great and my friend Mat Nastos was there and got my daughters and their friend sketches and he even let us cut his huge line.  I also had a Stan Lee sighting as he walked literally right next to me and my booth.  It was for sure great seeing him.  I will for sure be back next year for Amazing Las vegas 2014.  Excelsior!

Phoenix Comic Con May 23rd-26th

Picture
The Phoenix Comic Con BIG fun for Elveen's Comics.  Sean and I had a great time.  We met a grip of very cool people. The crowds were good and besides the evac on the end of the day Sunday everything went smooth.  The Valiant Crew was there a reppin big time!  Arizona sure knows how to put on a top flight comic con.  You can be sure I'll be back next year, I already paid for my space.

Long Beach Comic Expo

I had a great time at this one day show.  I got to see some of my good friends and meet some great new people.  I have to give a BIG thanks for my homie Dave Lula.  Dave really came though for me when my hand truck broke.  I would not have been able to load my books in and out with his help.  Good lookin out Dave.  There was a great crowd at this show and next year they are going to expand it to two days.  Thanks for the LBCC for having a great show.

Wondercon March 29-31

Picture
This was an AMAZING show!  I first must thank Sean and Aloe for coming down from San Frantastic to help.  I could never have survived with out them.  I also want to thank my friend Elery.  He brought Sean and I lunch, quite the hook up.  I met many great people and had numerous conversations.  We were busy the entire time.  Setting up was TONS of work and I was away from my booth for only about 2 min the entire show, so it was a busy, busy weekend.  I also want to give a shout out to my neighbors, they were super helpful and great to be next to.  Not everything went smoothly, including my credit card swiper not working a few times....... but overall I had a WONDERFUL TIME.  I will for sure be back next year at Wondercon.

Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Show - Feb 24 2013

Picture
This was a fun show.  I did it by myself so it was a bunch of work unloading, setting up and tearing down.  There was a real good crowd due (I think) to the special guests.  Michonne and Andrea from the Walking Dead TV show were there.  I did not see them as I did not leave my booth for even 1 second.  It was a successful show for me and I met a bunch of cool people.  I'm thinking I will be back as a vendor at the Shrine Comic book show.  Check out some pics.

Amazing Arizona Comic Con - Jan 25-27 2013

Picture
So my first "BIG" show was the Amazing Arizona Comic Con.  My friends the "Jay Co." dudes were organizing the show and it was an opportunity I could not miss.  My GREAT friend Sean came down from San Fran to help me set up and work the booth.  It was a loooong drive out from So Cal to the desert.   Also, Arizona's own Jonesy came and also worked the booth with us (and brought doughnuts!).  I had a great time at the show and met some great people.  No doubt, it was a grip of work, but so worth it.  Setting up is not easy, and taking down is even harder.  I want to say a special thanks to my Brother Big D and SA for letting us stay at their place and getting Sean his needed coffee in the morning.  One other thing I learned from this show..... 5 Guys fries are REAL good (but In-n-Out burgers are BETTER!)  Check out some pics.

Picture
Here is my A-Z books. A big thanks to Sean setting up the dividers and realizing that the name need to be on the back so we can also see them.

So Cal Comic Con - Nov. 18th 2012

Picture
I was happy to set up for the FIRST TIME at the So Cal Comic Con in Oceanside.  The show was Nov. 18th and I had a blast.  It was the first time I "crossed" the line as a dealer.  I met some great people and it was a great experience in getting my feet wet.  I want to give a big shout out to my Pops who drove down with me, helped set up and tear down.  He talked to about everyone and provided the Subway sandwich!  Basically my Dad is amazing!  Check out some pics.
